TRPMA is delighted to invite Mr. Joseph Cho, the CEO of RDPAC, to give a speech on “China Biopharmaceutical Policy and Market Outlook in 2015-16”. Based on his long term experiences and observations, Mr. Cho briefed the audience on the recent changes of medical regulations in China. The changes are multifarious, including the promotion of health industries, the strategies to expedite new drug R&D, more strengthened drug safety regulations, the anti-corruption measures, IP protection, the reform of public hospitals, the modification of MRCT regulations, the amendment of drug management regulations, the changes of drug pricing policies, the health insurance system, etc. Mr. Cho also gave valuable advices to biopharmaceutical developers in Taiwan. He suggested targeting on the areas with great potential and sticking to it. For companies aiming at the whole Chinese market, he stressed the importance of finding a business partner. There was a Q&A session after the speech. Mr. Cho answered the audience’s questions and gave detailed and informative advices.
