Ms. Carol Cheng, C.O.O of TRPMA, and Dr. Ya-Chun Wang, Executive Vice President of Tcmbio, were invited by the JPMA to attend the 4th APAC in Tokyo. This Conference was launched by JPMA and aimed to create the Open Innovation platform in Asia for stakeholders to exchange opinions on drug R&D and regulatory harmonization, as well as to promote cooperations. Government officials and industry representatives from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Burma, Thailand, Indonesia and South Korea were invited to attend this conference.

Taiwan and Japan are currently engaging in a cooperation project – the DSANJ-DSANT Pilot Program - to create a new drug R&D project database so that drug manufacturers can locate potential R&D partners more easily. As for new drug regulations, the Good Submission Practice and the Good Review Practice will be promoted in most countries.
