In order to promote the cooperation between the biopharmaceutical industries in Taiwan and Japan, the TRPMA is collaborating with the JPMA and the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in expanding the Drug Seeds Alliance Network Japan (DSANJ) maintained by the OCCI. The TRPMA will provide the information of new drug R&D cases in Taiwan for the access of the biopharmaceutical industries in Taiwan and Japan.

The DSANJ is jointly established by the JPMA, OCCI, financial investors and academic research institutes in Japan. It includes the reports and analyses concerning the basic technologies of new drug R&D, biomarker reagents, research results, etc. Basic information is free to access. However, companies can pay an annual fee of ¥540,000 for the access to complete reports and the use of partnering services. The DSANJ was established in 2010. Since then, 1896 meetings have been arranged to match potential partners, including 375 cases of matching developers with manufacturers. So far, there have been 25 successful matches. By helping drug companies speed up their searches for new projects, the DSANJ supports and expedites the development of the biopharmaceutical industry.
