TRPMA, TSAA and three leading accounting firms jointly organized this forum on capital market for new biopharmaceuticals. Dr Chang Horng-Jen, President of the TRPMA, moderated the discussions. Dr Ding Shih-Torng, Vice Executive Secretary of the Board of Science and Technology, and Mr Cheng Cheng-Mount, Vice Chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission, were invited to give talks to inspire Taiwan become the funding center for biotech industries in Asia-Pacific region.

On the discussion panel were Mr Henry Lin (Standing Director of TSAA), Ms. Chang Li-Chen (General Manager of SFI), Mr Hu Chung-Hua (Vice General Manager of Fubon Security), Ms Zheng Hui-Jin (Vice Director of PwC Taiwan) and Dr Calvin C.K. Chen (General Manager of TWiBiotech). They gave real insight into the barriers to capital market faced by biopharmaceutical companies, as well as problems concerning information disclosure and how to keep talents in the industry.

Mr Su Song-Chin, President of TSAA, shared his experiences with the audience and his expectation of the biopharmaceutical capital market. The discussion details will be released shortly.
