TRPMA invited Dr Chen Yuan-Tsong, an academician of the Academia Sinica, to give a talk on “the R&D and the review of drugs for rare diseases”. This event forms part of the Advanced RA personnel training program commissioned by TFDA to TRPMA. Dr Chen shared his personal experiences in the finding of Myozyme, a cure of Pompe disease. 72 drug reviewers from TFDA and CDE attended this event and engaged in warm discussions.
