The International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) together with the Drug Information Association (DIA) jointly organized 3 international regulatory conferences in Taipei, Taiwan.

This 5-day event ran from February 2 to 6 2015, including the 8th Asian Regulatory Conference. The 8th Asian Regulatory Conference, taking place on February 4-5, attracted over 100 pharmaceutical regulatory professionals from many countries, such as the US, Canada, UK, EU, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and India.

The biopharmaceutical industry in Taiwan progresses at speed and the manufacturers are keen to enter the global markets. Therefore, it is very important for manufacturers to formulate suitable product and risk management policies. The Mister of Health and Welfare (MOHW) hopes that the series of international conferences will promote Taiwan as the platform for international pharmaceutical policy researches and communications. The MOHW invited heavyweights of international health organizations to study solutions for excellent pharmaceutical review and to harmonize international public health policies, as well as to reduce pharmaceutical hazard and improve global human health.
