TRPMA, SPARK Taiwan and NRPB jointly organized the “2017 Taiwan Drug & Medical Device Development Symposium”. This year’s program covered three major areas: new drug R&D, pharmaceutical regulation and commercial development. The organizers invited internationally acclaimed speakers to share their experiences with the participants. This symposium aims to expedite the launch of new drugs and new medical devices developed in Taiwan and to promote local biomedical industry.

BioIPSeeds also presented the application of the blockchain technology to the biomedical industry, and briefed the participants on their progress of the design and concepts which aim to create an ecosystem supporting global industry-academia collaboration.
